Coach Andy Monfre has over 15 years experience coaching at the high school and youth levels. He specializes in simplifying varsity and college-level skill concepts for younger players and has worked with boys and girls from 2nd grade through the professional ranks. His skill work emphasizes efficient footwork, deceptive movement, dynamic ‘contact’ dribbling, and under control finishing. Coach Monfre takes pride in his ability to teach skills at a micro, detail-orientated level without making it boring or perplexing to young players. In addition to working with players in individual and small group settings, Coach Monfre has coached and worked with some of the area’s top high school and club programs.
Coach Monfre is the varsity head coach with the New Berlin Eisenhower Girl’s (2016 WIAA State Champions - 2018 State Runner Up) and previously was a varsity assistant with the Eisenhower boy's program for 8 seasons (2008 WIAA State Champions). "Coach Monfre is the best there is when it comes to teaching the fundamentals of basketball and then building off of those skills in workouts. He taught me many of the necessary nuances of the game and further inspired my love for basketball. His skills as a trainer and a coach are unmatched and he has been a big part in my development into the player I am today."

"When I had the honor of competing at the Nike Basketball Academy, an NBA coach told me I had the best footwork of any high schooler he had seen. That all started back in 6th grade working with Coach Monfre.”
-Tyler Herro, Miami Heat

-Drew, NCAA Division II Basketball Player

"Andy is extremely encouraging, engaging and respectful with both kids and parents. The positive learning environment has done wonders for our son’s self-esteem, not to mention his skill development in basketball and growth as a young man. Andy brings out our son’s best, pushing him beyond his comfort level, while still finding a way to keep it fun! Andy has a unique ability to communicate at any level, and therefore easily earns trust and respect of his individual or team. We attribute much of our son’s development in basketball to the work he has done with Andy over the past 2 years. I've recommended Andy again and again to kids who want to improve their game and grow as a person.”

"Coach Monfre has undeniably helped to improve my ball handling this summer. With only 6 sessions with him my game has been elevated by learning the counter intuitive moves. I feel so much more confident out on the court. He truly encompasses the energy of a coach and instills a passion to succeed with whoever he works with.”
-Claire, NCAA Women's Basketball Player
"I have had the pleasure of getting to know Andy and have seen the benefit of his training first hand. Andy has a very unique ability to teach concepts that at their core are basic but also high level at the same time. Andy does this by explaining and progressing his training in a way that makes it easier for players to understand and apply to their games. Andy also keeps his training sessions fun and has the ability to motivate kids to want to work on the “homework” he gives them to improve on their own time. This ability to get players excited about working on what he asked them to work on is what is really going to advance a player at a much quicker level. I have had the benefit of seeing several different trainers in action and I would strongly recommend Andy.”
"Coach Monfre does an excellent job of determining your son's weaknesses and using specified drills to improve them. He also has an innate ability to connect with your son both as a coach and mentor."
